Ege University Faculty of Economics and Administrative Sciences organized Turkey’s first “Economics Students Congress” in 1998. The event attracted great interest nationwide and subsequently became a traditional annual organization. Since 2006, the congress has been held on an international scale. This year, it will take place in İzmir on 14–15 May 2026 under the main theme “Triple Transformation in the Turkish and World Economy: Opportunities, Risks, and Policies.”

 

All university students from Turkey and abroad, representatives of the public and private sectors, representatives of non-governmental organizations, and academic staff are invited to the 27th International Economics Students Congress.
